Fred Andersen’s vision, communicated to customers back in 1947, pointed to both the higher standard of living afforded by better homes and better windows, and to the benefits all working partners and stakeholders enjoy when we live up to the ideals of the “Magic Circle.”

Chris Galvin

President and Chief Operating Officer

Chris Galvin is president and chief operating officer of Andersen Corporation. He has responsibility for the Andersen Division, Renewal by Andersen, as well as enterprise manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, research, development & innovation (RD&I), information technology and marketing.

Chris was named CEO in September 2022, joined Andersen Corp. in 2002 as an investment director. He has held leadership roles across all areas of the company, including corporate finance, manufacturing, logistics, supply-chain operations and general management. In 2019, he became president of the Andersen Division. Two years later, he was promoted to president and chief operating officer of the company. “One of the things that we hold sacred at Andersen is making sure everybody can achieve their full potential,” Chris said. “What’s great about that is I had opportunities, as do every one of our employees, to move to different parts of the organization.”

Preparing for Day One

We’ve put together a guide to help you through your first day. If you have any questions, please contact your HR Talent Acquisition Partner. You’ve got this.

What to Expect

Your supervisor or sales trainer will guide you through your days and weeks ahead. Day one is loaded with a unique mix of learning about the job, introductions, and getting familiar with your surroundings. So, absorb what you can, and rely on your manager/leaders and team members.

The health and well-being of our employees, customers and business partners is our top priority. All Andersen corporate entities are following government guidance to protect those associated with Andersen and do our part to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

What to Wear

Success depends on our ability to provide a world-class homeowner experience.

We urge everyone to wear business casual attire, such as a polo shirt, khaki pants and proper shoe attire. When in doubt, please refer to your supervisor or manager for direction.

Check out your welcome/offer letter for specific instructions on when and where to report on your first day.

What are the Essentials

We want to ensure your first day
runs smoothly. Don’t leave home without these essential items:

  • Valid documents (Connect to USCIS.GOV) verifying your identity and work authorization as required for Form I-9.
    These must be original documents, not pictures or photocopies.
  • Banking information for Direct Deposit (Bank name and routing number)
  • iPad (Sales Consultants are required to supply own iPad)
  • Bag lunch/Lunch money
  • Water bottle
